Okay, one thing’s for sure.
We’ve been arguing since.. forever about His form, His authenticity, His existence. We all have our own beliefs and mine are very strong. I know deep inside, and I’ve always believed that there is something out there, because I’ve reached out and have been helped. Every time. I’ve asked for signs and I’ve received them, only because I’ve been searching for meanings in everything that happens to me. Maybe it’s my hope that I believe in, it doesn’t matter. It keeps me moving, it keeps me dreaming, it keeps me sane and working. Mostly it just makes me happy. It makes me be kinder to those around me and more appreciative of their general existence ( even if sometimes I can’t help being annoyed with the world). It’s my own way of doing things and I have the right to have that.
But, we have to give Him one thing, whatever He, She, It is; be it a force, a deity, some kind of angel, It has a sense of humour. I don’t care if you believe only in the mere existence of the universe; then the universe has a sense of humour. I mean, how could It not? Even if sometimes it’s kind of a twisted one… . Have you ever begged in all seriousness only to be rewarded with a laugh-out-loud experience? You surely have, even if you didn’t notice. Try that: put your iPod on shuffle and the first song that comes on describes your next summer. Funnily crazy, right? It almost fits? WHO does that, really? Have you ever noticed the paradoxes that surround us, the dreams that we achieve, only to realise they were never meant to make us happy, the perfect synchronising of a song when you think about someone, the meeting with that person you would have done everything to avoid? If that’s not a stunning sense of humour, I don’t know what it is. Frankly, I’d do it to if I could have, you know, absolute and unlimited power over every living thing. I’d mess them up, too.

Lately I’ve seen lots of people in the desperate search of finding their one self. Trying to discover their part in this life, who they are meant to be. But this is all non-sense to me. Traveling the world won’t help you realize who you are because after all, life isn’t about finding yourself but about creating yourself. We spend our whole lives trying to find our path until one day your life is over and you haven’t done anything at all. We are trying so hard to fit in this well-known categories, we try so hard to be labelled, and yet we pretend to be called unique. But, at the end of the day the point in this pointless life is to do whatever you want to do. To fully live, to create the path that suits you best, to face life fearlessly and take the decisions that make you happy. Labels are for the narrow minded because each of us is different, and the appearence may look the same but inside we’re just made out of different ingredients.
I’ve had this time when I was sure that there is no such things as a path you must follow with your senses off. The truth is I believe that the decisions you take are truly the ones that count. The path you follow is build out of the decisions to take because I’ve learned there will always be options. You will always have a choice and at the end of the day you are the only one to blame. Than again, I strongly believe in karma. I am convinced that all good things you do will come straight back at you and vice-versa. So, as this was said, or better said, written down, I now have time to reconsider my way of living. For now, I believe I haven’t done any horrible, irreplaceable mistakes. But I will. I know there will come a time when I’ll choose wrong. And I’ll have to get away with that. Oh, I forgot to mention I believe in days. Since you ever started this live you have been given a number of days to live. And when that day will come when my life will flash in front of my eyes, I hope I shall enjoy the movie.
